On Assignment: AE Ceramics
Back in March we had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with Alison Evans of AE Ceramics in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We were on assignment for Design New England to photograph Alison’s recently opened gallery (AE Home) in Boothbay, as well as capture a portrait of her working on one of her signature pieces. Its great to photograph someone who is so passionate about their craft because it translates into a very natural authentic portrait. Along with the still images we also put together a short video of Alison explaining her craft as she presses together a large oyster coffee table bowl.
This might be one over our favorite Maine Home + Design covers.
We are on the cover of the latest edition of Fine Homebuilding Magazine! Caleb Johnson Architects + Builders was awarded Best New Home 2015 for their design and construction of an ocean front residence in Biddeford, ME.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! After your stuffed with Turkey or Toufurkey be sure to grab a copy of the New York Times and check out our article featuring the work of Go Logic, a client of ours from Belfast Maine. We photographed a project of theirs in Michigan this summer and then pushed it towards the The New York Times. They picked it up and are running it on Thanksgiving day. Forget the football and check out the Times!
